Holice has been actively involved for over 50 years as a real estate broker in the commercial and industrial real estate business in the Memphis, TN and Desoto County, MS markets. The first 10 years of his real estate career were focused on leasing and managing The Bellbrook and Space Center Industrial Parks, owned by Bell and Norfleet Enterprises and later Prudential Insurance Company.
After that time, Holice was employed by the Vantage/Weston Companies for 18 years as a Senior Vice President of Marketing. During this period, he was involved in many phases of the development business including locating sites for industrial/distribution parks, purchasing property, preparing proformas, reviewing building plans, prospecting for tenants and negotiating building sales, leases, and managing leased properties. Also, during this period he was actively involved as a real estate broker representing third party firms.
For the next 8 years, he served as President of Central States Realty, an affiliate of Dunavant Enterprises. The primary role of this entity was the marketing of company owned properties and working with the company's logistics division on distribution needs. In addition, continued a tenant representation effort with new and existing clients developed during his real estate career. Several transactions during this time included an industrial lease totaling 995,000 SF, a combination transaction involving a site purchase for design-build 50,000 SF office building, and that firm's purchase of a 100.000 SF industrial building. Also completed transactions including sales of a 475 acre industrial site, the sale of a 100 acre office site for a community college campus, and the sale of a 140 acre commercial site for a proposed shopping center. In addition, completed industrial lease transactions in Louisville, KY, Austin, TX, McAllen, TX, Nogales, Mexico, and Renosa, Mexico.
During the next 11 years served as Senior Advisor with SVN/Investec Realty Services, while continuing to represent industrial, residential, retail, multi-family and office clients. Represented the seller and buyer in an industrial transaction that included both seller's property and its existing successful industrial products business. Another project included exclusively representing a home builder's association in the purchase of a 54,000 SF office building, and subsequently received the Home Builder Association's Presidents Award, in recognition of service to the organization.
For the following 8 years served as Senior Advisor with Albright Investments, LLC, while continuing to focus on commercial and industrial prospects and properties with customers established during his long history in the commercial and industrial real estate business.
Holice has recently moved to Nashville and accepted a new position as Senior Advisor with Ray Gil Properties. He will be focusing primarily on locating properties to develop in the Nashville and Middle Tennessee area markets, while also serving existing client's real estate requirements in the Memphis area.
His real estate career includes membership in Memphis Area Association of Realtors (MAAR), former chairman of the MAAR Commercial and Industrial Committee, MAAR Million Dollar Club (Lifetime Member), National Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), and National Association of Realtors (NAR).
